Everything we make is born in the Ecuadorian Andes — sewn in Miranda, woven near Otavalo, buttoned with Tagua carved outside Quito. Designed between Quito and Brooklyn, and signed by the person who made it.

Excellent jacket - recommended

As always, Remu Apparel has delivered a quality product, and as a repeat customer I am very satisfied with the Remake Denim Jacket. It is a unique item that is comfortable and fits true to size. I look forward to wearing it in the fall and I am especially grateful that my purchase supports an indigenous community in Ecuador and specifically women artisanry.

Scammers

This jacket is nice, but the inside jacket pocket is placed too high, which makes this pocket useless. That's the reason I decided to return this jacket. Unfortunately, the refund wasn't issued. No response from Remu customer service to my multiple emails about the refund. I just lost $200 because of these scammers. Just don't buy from them, because you won't be able to get money for a returned item.

Worth the wait!

I received my jacket a little less than a month since I ordered it! Given that it is summer I was okay to wait. However, once I received it I understood why it took so long. The attention the detail, the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of it made it all worth it! It's so cool that it comes with the name of the seamstress who crafted my jacket, please thank Jenny for it!

I recently received

I recently received the Remake jacket, and I must say, it's a solid piece of outerwear. The upcycled denim gives it a vintage feel, and the craftsmanship is evident in the details. The fit is good, though I would have preferred slightly shorter sleeves. Nonetheless, it's comfortable to wear, and the lining adds a nice touch. The fact that it supports women in marginalized communities and it has the name of the seamstress who made my jacket is a commendable aspect of this jacket! Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

A great find!

I stumbled upon the REMU REMake Jacket online and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did because it exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the attention to detail is evident. The jacket fits me perfectly, and I love how it looks on me. The fact that it's made from upcycled denim and supports women in marginalized communities makes it even more special. My only minor gripe is that I wish it had more color options to choose from. Nevertheless, it's a great jacket that I enjoy wearing.
